Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp

Berg-en-Dal (meaning "hill and vale or valley") is located in the south west corner of Kruger.
Tread Lightly books this camp.  Although the camp was built in the 1980's, it's still was of the newest in the Kruger National Park.

It has easy access, great scenery; ancient granite out-crops, perennial and seasonal rivers, mixed woodland and good game viewing.

Once away from camp, there is a complex network of game drive routes available to us.

The area has a healthy population of lions and leopards as well as some species which have somewhat fallen into decline over the last 10 years due to the impact of poaching for supply to the international trade, particularly; China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
