Bateleur Bushveld Camp
As with most camps in Kruger National Park, accommodation availability is always an issue, advance booking is an absolute necessity and Bateleur Bushveld Camp is no exception!
The camp is not accessible to the public, it’s a great little retreat stuck way out on a limb, a camp located perhaps furthest from any human habitation than any other camp in Kruger!
There are only 7 chalets in this camp, it’s all about tranquility. Access is by private sand road only, there’s a viewing hide in camp and close by 2 dams offering additional unspoilt game viewing.
One of the most beautiful game drives in the park is close by and follows the Shingwedzi River for kilometres and kilometres, wildlife is abundant and the river banks are shadowed by giant Nyala trees and other spectacular sub-tropical vegetation.
